Major Pros:

There was much praise for the 3rd Generation of the Amazon Fire TV Stick for its speed. As compared to previous generations, the overall consensus has been that the whole streaming experience seems to be faster. Many were also praising its ease of installation and how quick it took to get it set-up and running. Many existing users of Amazon's older Fire TV Sticks were also pleasantly surprised at the seamless transition in replacing the new Fire Stick while retaining information such as the Wifi password etc. So, in a word, Convenient!

Finally, just a little for the audiophiles out there, the Dolby Atmos compatibility is certainly a great addition to the experience.

Cons:

There were a few reports of malfunctions such as the TV having a blank screen or the Stick not working. There were technical explanations and some were left unexplained. However, the great thing we saw in the 3rd Generation Amazon Fire TV Stick reviews was that: customer service was following up on their problems. For those who did not manage to solve their problem, they received replacements from Amazon and were satisfied with their final product. Lastly, this is quite stated all over the web already but: the Amazon Fire TV Stick 3rd Generation does not support 4k streaming, you can only stream in 1080p or HD. If you would like to have 4k compatibility, check out our Fire TV Stick 4k review.

Conclusion:

At an affordable price of $39.99, you get a convenient and all-in-one entertainment storage that lets you store your daily entertainment subscriptions! If your current TV which you plan to use the Fire Stick with has no 4K capabilities, there is no point in getting the Fire TV Stick 4K.
